Your first day begins in Épernay, home to a renowned Champagne house where you’ll enjoy a guided cellar tasting, before strolling the legendary Avenue de Champagne, a UNESCO World Heritage Site lined with some of the region’s most prestigious maisons.

Continue to Hautvillers, the picturesque village where Dom Pérignon perfected the art of sparkling winemaking, for a further tasting at a family-run cellar. As the sun sets, enjoy an optional aperitif with panoramic views, before a gourmet dinner at a countryside restaurant and an overnight stay in Épernay.

On your second day, continue exploring with a tasting alongside independent producers along the Avenue de Champagne, before heading to Reims to visit the magnificent Notre-Dame Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its Gothic architecture and stunning stained-glass windows by Marc Chagall. With free time to explore the historic center, you’ll return to Paris in the evening with a genuine, immersive taste of Champagne’s landscapes, history, and craftsmanship.

As soon as we got into the van we felt like VIPs: the vehicle was air-conditioned and very comfortable. Once we arrived, the tour included 2 (!!) wine tastings and visits to learn about the production process. Everything felt very authentic, as we visited small local producers and family-run estates. To top it all off, we ended the day with a lesson on how to choose your own favourite champagne and we immediately put it into practice by buying some of the most incredible wines we’ve ever tasted.
