1. What is Viravia?
Viravia is a team of wine experts and enthusiasts who curate food and wine experiences in Italy and France. We collaborate with selected wineries to offer tastings, tours, and events carefully designed for small groups and customizable to your preferences.
2. What types of experiences does Viravia offer?
We offer three main types of experiences:
- Food & Wine Tours: itineraries in Italy (Irpinia, Naples) and France (Champagne), with transportation included and visits to selected wineries.
- Private At-Home Tastings: personalized guided experiences held directly at your home, with wines and food products selected according to the participants’ tastes.
- Food & Wine Events: guided experiences in selected locations, featuring tastings, local food, and in-depth insights into the territory.
3. How can I book a tour or tasting?
All bookings are handled directly by our team. You can contact us through the Contacts page or via email/phone. We will send you confirmation and all necessary details, including any customization or transportation options.
4. Do the tours include transportation?
Yes. Our food & wine tours include comfortable, dedicated transfers, allowing you to enjoy the experience in complete relaxation without worrying about logistics.
5. Can private at-home tastings be customized?
Absolutely. Wines, food pairings, duration, and pace of the tasting can all be tailored to the participants’ preferences and the specific setting.
6. Which languages are available during the experiences?
Viravia experiences can be conducted in Italian, French, English, and other languages upon request, ensuring a clear and engaging experience for international guests.
7. How are wines and producers selected?
We work with producers who follow their own stylistic identity—small estates or historic wineries—chosen for quality, authenticity, and care in production. We do not start from categories such as “organic,” “natural,” or “traditional,” but from how the wine is made.
8. What happens in case of cancellation or event changes?
For details on cancellation and modification policies, please refer to our Policy. In general, the Viravia team will inform you promptly and offer alternatives or refunds if changes are necessary.
9. Can I participate if I don’t drink wine?
Yes. Guests who do not consume alcohol can still take part in visits and educational moments. Tastings may include non-alcoholic alternatives or theoretical insights into wine and the territory.
