The evening
An intimate evening dedicated to Champagne Robert-Allait, a family Maison from Villers-sous-Châtillon, in the heart of the Vallée de la Marne, producing some of the most distinctive cuvées in the region. Four glasses, one expert guide, and the stories behind each bottle at ROSSO Paris, our favourite venue in the city.
The maison
Champagne Robert-Allait: five generations in the Vallée de la Marne
Established in Villers-sous-Châtillon over two centuries ago, the Robert-Allait family has been crafting Champagne for five generations. Today, Stéphanie and Aurélien Poussin carry the tradition forward alongside Stéphanie’s parents, Sylvie and Régis Robert.
The estate spans 14 hectares across more than 80 plots on the south-facing slopes of the Marne Valley. Pinot Meunier is the true signature of the house, rare in Champagne, and the basis of three of their most distinctive cuvées.
Since 2015, the Maison holds both HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale) and VDC (Viticulture Durable en Champagne) certifications, a commitment to biodiversity that goes as far as beehives between the rows and hedgerows replanted along the estate boundaries.

The tasting
Four cuvées, one Maison
A preview of the cuvées you will taste:

Plaisir Nature
100% Pinot Meunier, non-dosé. Fresh, fruity and mineral, with no added sugar at disgorgement — one of the rarest mono-varietal cuvées in all of Champagne.

Cuvée Prestige
The three great Champagne grapes — Meunier, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir — aged 36 months in the family cellar. Vinous and generous, with a fine, well-balanced structure.

Prestige Rosé
Made by assemblage: a blend of Meunier, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with the addition of still red wine. Pale salmon-pink, fine bubbles. Red fruit and fresh flowers on the nose; round, fruity and supple on the palate.

Sublimis Chardonnay 2022
100% Chardonnay, blanc de blancs. Golden and fine bubbles with white flowers and citrus on the nose. Elegant, airy and crisp: the balance of a great Côte des Blancs, grown in the Marne Valley.
Food pairing
A table to match each glass

Each of the four Champagnes will be accompanied by a carefully selected food pairing.
Cheeses, charcuterie and seasonal specialities chosen to highlight what’s in your glass, not to compete with it.
Because the best way to understand a wine is to taste it alongside the right bite.
